Assisted Flares

Steam Assisted Flares

These flares are designed for disposal of heavier waste gases which tend to smoke. In this type of assisted flares, steam is injected to prevent smoke formation.

  • Sizes from 2 to 120 inch
  • Multi-port investment cast steam nozzles for lowest noise possible
  • Steam nozzles engineered for optimum air mixing and inspiration
  • Suitable for 50 to 250 psig steam pressure

Air Assisted Flares

Air Assisted Flares are designed for efficient combustion of heavier waste gases at sites where steam or water is not available. In this type of assisted flares air is injected directly into waste gas by using high or low-pressure air, which cause smokeless burning and longer life of flare tip.

  • Sizes ranging from 2 to 120 inch
  • Longer life of flare tip due to continuous cooling with forced air flow
  • Lower radiation level at grade due to high aerated flame
  • Lower noise compared to similar steam assisted flare

Gas Assisted Flares

Tehran Javan Gas Assisted Flares are designed for smokeless burning of low-pressure heavy Hydrocarbons which have a very low heating values, mostly Ammonia, Hydrogen Sulfide, Acid gas stream venting from CO2 floods or any other combination of high amount of inert gas with combustible Hydrocarbons.

In this type of assisted flares Natural gas is injected to flare tip for stable burning, high combustion efficiency and low radiation level wherever steam or air is not available.

Tehran Javan Gas Flare Systems are equipped with extra pilot assemblies for ignition, specially designed full perimeter flame retention ring assembly, extended windshield and for certain cases ignition ring assembly.
